I've used Cabarrus Imports roughly 15+ years (or however long it has been since their shop was on Hwy.49 in Mt. Pleasant) for all of the Hondas and Toyotas my wife and I have owned over the years. These guys are not just experts at their given trade, they are the friendliest and the most honest group of people I know, that a person could do business with. I'm no mechanic... but with these guys, if it is not just routine maintenance, I just tell them the 'symptoms' my vehicle is showing me, and they take it from there. Even when I have been sure I needed some expensive repair, there have been a number of times they called me to tell me it either did not need anything (! YES !) or it was something much less expensive than I had been mentally preparing myself for. I have, and will continue, to recommend Cabarrus Imports to anyone who has an 'import' vehicle. For the record, right now it's Saturday, and I just left my '07 Highlander in their lot with a note and keys in the dropbox. They will figure it out and give me a call on Monday or Tuesday (this is NOT a scheduled event) to tell me what they have found. But whatever it is, I trust that they have found my problem and that the cost will be reasonable. (These guys have worked on the multiple Hondas and Toyotas we've had once they were out of their 36K mile manufacturer's warranty.)

I know for a fact if I had not taken my car to them, I would end up paying two thousand dollars to the dealer my check engine light was and and they did the research and found out my battery was under warrenty and my battery was replaced for free at the dealership. I tell everyone I know that has an import to go to them. I had to go to the Dealership the other day to get a recall done. They offered to do some additional work which I had them do. After all was said and done I regreated having them do that work for me and wished I would have gone with my gut and taken in the Cabarru Imports. I won't make that mistake again.
